Have you heard the story about the animator's noose
Well let me tell you

A long time ago there was an animator
He was a good man
Creating iconic characters loved by both children and adults

But he was a sad man as well
He had no wife no children no family within days of his home
He drowned himself in his work
Suppressing all his hopes and desires.
Day after day he did this
It wasn't healthy

Years passed and things were not going so well for him
His depression had affected his ability to create works of art
His products had stopped selling and his coworkers feared
He was having suicidal thoughts
So out of concern his boss released him from his job of twenty years
Oh how he fought to stay with the company
His tears flowed endlessly as he begged to remain
A part of the team he now considered his family

But, as he walked out the door for the final time
He put on a smile and thanked everyone for everything, saying he loved all of them
And would miss them for the rest of his life

Three days later, he was found dead in his home
He hung himself when he returned to his home after leaving his job for the last time

When his coworkers searched his work desk, the only thing they found was a drawing of a noose
Written below the drawing was one sentence

With my pen I'll draw this animator's noose
As art is all I have left
