It's been a while but I'm back with a different style
See I been going through some things that make it hard for me to smile
Wish I could go back in the days, when I was a little child
Living life, feeling free, no worries, and acting wild
But now I'm grown up, it's time for me to handle responsibilities
As a man, understand with my fam, but y'all ain't feeling me
Staying positive but distracted with negativity
Without thinking about the repercussions causing misery
People tell me slow down you're moving too fast
You only got one life so live it like it's your last
I never liked that saying but nowadays you never know
Always tell my family I love em and I let it show
Every day it's smiles and frowns, going through some ups and downs
But when drama invades the room, emotions come around
From using anger as the result of the comeback
To think why would I say that, and think why have I done that?

Looking back wishing I could change things differently
Like my old friends from old schools came to stick with me
Nowadays they only come around when they need too
Only trust myself, while some others be deceitful
Broken promises by homies that I used to roll with
Their fakeness were exposed, and I never even noticed

Leaving me to suffer while you start another family
