And then there was three
We sat so closely in this cave
It is Our home
Outside of these walls I know
I Am Still whole
So come with Me
To another place no farther than
A thought from here
Where the obelisks bleed rain
And temples sing heresy
With Meadows aching as their
Stones grow older
Stars Withering so quickly to dust
If you blink they are Us
Taking Our turn interned here
Still I cannot stare thinking
A piece of the night sky was Gone
When in truth it was never even there
So what was imagined?
So now We sit alone again
Our backs to God
As We begin to fade away into the dark
But here we are
Hand in Hand with reservations to
An emergency room
These table tops growing colder by the second
I'll see you on the other side of the line
Neither of us truly feared
I fear we are the same
