More like the greatest manipulator
The biggest bully
The absolute best at making you think you have a choice
A say or a vote that counts when it goes against their values
Now you can go outside and hold your sandwich board
Looks as if we'll all be seeing the Lord
The Spirit and Jesus H Christ
Killing this planet ain't your f*cking right
This one place to allow your existence doesn't give a shit whether you're here or not
We are the ones that want to keep going
Ignoring our destruction is worse than not knowing
Pouring chemicals into the streams and our food is a definite recipe to set the mood
A little crazy mixed with a pinch of too lazy
Is how you write the story of a long forgotten society
Too busy to give a damn and welcomed insanity
Willingly ignorant to a factual calamity
Run by the cunning not so smart but bold
Seemed to be the downfall of history that was told
Iron fists full of money is all you need
Until technology allowed the meek to read to write
To question authority
Finally we're at another crossroads
Are we willing to listen and act with conviction
Or just sit in traffic like a pigeon
Its really up to the young people
And of course the others that have been listening the whole time
But have been struggling to have their voices heard
The older folks are pretty much hopeless
The ones set in their ways and unwilling to tell fact from fiction
Or when they're totally being f*cked right in their face
You ask what kind of person comes up with this rhetoric
No more crazy as the one that say their prayers on one hand
And supporting politicians that kill millions in the other
And yes even though our parents and grandparents
And so on have lived in times under corrupt authorities
Does not mean that we cant change this and have honest uncorrupt leaders
You may call me cynical but i like to think of it as a step toward enlightenment
For those who will see through the facade by dedicating at least part of life
Acknowledging and working towards exposing and harassing
Those who prey on the weak and unfortunate
So that we can all one day live with real pride and communion
Instead of this mental and literal segregation
Blanketed by the false prophets and hollow beliefs
