I'm your Christmas ghost of your past and present
I am here to show you what is going on here
In the Christmas-sphere there are consequences

Times are moving on ahead
We owe nothing to the dead
Traditions are a thing but it's time to change
Christmas is supposed to be a time for generosity
But gifts can still be given even if they're free

So, let us take a look at what we want to achieve
Is it for good or for greed we go for food and presents
The magic lights of Christmas glow for all who believe
But tell me what do you see in your own reflection

Can you see it from afar
And make your wish upon a star
What your heart desire is it plain to see?
Or do you have to compromise
And feed yourself misleading lies
So, you can be happy this time of year

So, tell me how you're celebrating Christmas
Is it done for each and every kind
Or do you only celebrate the victims
When they've done their screaming suffering and bleeding

There's something going on that you may not yet perceived
But how I do believe that it truly matters
Cuz hidden in the stables you won't find baby Jez
Living so we can't see are those who really suffer

Times are moving on ahead
Those piglets they will soon be dead
Traditions are a thing but it's time to change
Christmas is supposed to be for kindness and for honesty
But how can we be either when it all is done in greed!?

So, now that we are closing in on Christmas
Let us welcome each and every kind
Together we can truly make a difference
If we let Thanksgiving become an all Thanksliving
Together we can have a Merry Christmas
And what we truly wish for can come true
But if we blindly following traditions
It doesn't matter if we swear in to be kind and caring

Now this is what will happen if you stay the course
Death will knock on your door in more than one endeavor
What you have denied them in the name of the Lord
Is something you can't afford for a way to heaven

Times are moving on ahead we owe nothing to the dead
So, here's to new beginnings for them and you
Listen to your inner voice proceed to make a better choice
And give yourself a present and go vegan too

Now that we are celebrating Christmas
Let's celebrate for each and every kind
Together we can have a Merry Christmas
As long as we are caring, kind and sharing
So, let us all together make a Christmas
Where no one had to die for you to live
And remember that to truly make a difference
It's not about what you are given
But what you give all living beings
