I found God smokin cigarettes in Alleyways
Passing out her demo tape in between shitty local bands at this Hotdog stand
I walked in and saw her standing There with a dumb smile on her face

That I could ask you something?"

"What's on your mind?" she said "What is it that tears you up inside?"
I replied "how could you turn your Back on us I thought we were your Children?"
She looked me in the eyes
With that certain kind of stare that Could focus on forever
She whispered through smirking lips
"Do you think I really planned all of this?"

Distorting the words I Probably didn't say
