The Sun is falling in the sea
I know a place I'd rather be
We used to walk along the sand
But now her hand isn't reaching out to me
The moon is rising through the mist
I recall the time when we first kissed
My head was in a swirl
The whole world revolved around her lips
She was easy on the eye
Always such a sweet surprise
I lived and died when she walked by
Beauty undenied
She didn't even have to try
I could only swoon and sigh
She made me cry
But she was easy on the eye
Like a bird that's on the wing
If she flies by your heart will sing
She's so graceful through the air
Well aware of everyplace and everything
And when she finally finds her perch
It's like a pulpit in Gods Church
She will expound till you're Redeemed
Until it seems you no longer have to search
We were Okay until she got the notion
That she had never really loved me
When I got the news and fell into the commotion
Well I, I had to set her free
The waves are pulling at the shore
Just like me they're wanting more
I don't know what to regret
And I forget what life was like before
