UJP - OG Lyrics

Alright, let's take it back to 1965
A baby was born day after 4th of July
This little guy didn't grow up with a guide
No wonder he walked with a downward stride
Started turning to drugs by age 15
Skipped out on school didn't even know what that word means
Started living the life of a feind
Wasn't long before he joined the gang scene
This new bad life made him remiss
He was into Led Zeppelin and KISS
Even going to the occult didn't really have wits
All that mixed with alcohol and smoke was his bliss
Starting fights but he never shot a gun
Only carried to show he's a real one
His whole life he been living for the fun
Until it came time for him to run

This man is broken and he's living in a tragedy
He's got so much to live for but he ain't living happily
This man would've been great if he chose a different strategy
This man is broken and he's living in a tragedy

Out his parents' house to LA then San Fran
On his way to Mud City where the thugging began
Hanging with Latin Kings til they killed his common man
After the accident, back to LA and switched his brand
Started f*cking with the Bloods when he moved to Compton
They and his homies in MS-13 kept it rockin'
Then another homeboy got nailed in a coffin
He started finding a new life up in Wisconsin
Then he found the hand of God and ran to its safety
Went back to Mexico, where he found this pretty young lady
Spent years courting back and forth he was chasing
Until 1998, they got married and had a baby
Moved down south to the Sunshine State
Knowing little of what was in their fate
Not knowing their lives would be destroyed by hate
But it was all good as long they had faith

This man is broken and he's living in a tragedy
He's got so much to live for but he ain't living happily
This man would've been great if he chose a different strategy
This man is broken and he's living in a tragedy
