Beneath willow trees
Twigs are wrapped in green
Like the old man
Said down the street
In soft tones
"You must tend to all, like the things we know
Including the snakes"
In the summer rain
Fleeting feeling fails
To remind the one
To capture the air
Before it gets dry
Calm collected calls, are bellowing out now - without the clouds
Earthquake, take over now
Remind us not to play foul
For a shallow lake
Will not feel impact
Inside the thick
Walls were built around
To keep waves out
So no one drowns
Inside the ground
Where twigs lay proud
