I grew up in a grade A country
A miner town where everyone knew everybody
And that Alaska midnight sun
I'd always dream of a city light sidewalk town
With no place to lay more pavement down
Yea that's my kind of scenery
I still don't know where I'll end up
But if you offered me I'd never pass up
A middle of nowhere drive down a dead end road that I don't know
A middle of nowhere sky, the northern lights shining so bold
I'm proud to say its where I'm from I might long for the city now
That don't mean that I'll forget about
This middle of nowhere town
This middle of nowhere town
The night club was a gravel pit party
A few beers and a half built treehouse
We'd talk about growing up and saving money to move away
Looking back now I kind of miss it
Yea I'm still reminiscing
Waking up with a smile but in my heart I'm still wishing for
A middle of nowhere drive down a dead end road that I don't know
A middle of nowhere sky, the northern lights shining so bold
I'm proud to say its where I'm from I might long for the city now
That don't mean that I'll forget about
This middle of nowhere town
This middle of nowhere town
A middle of nowhere drive down a dead end road that I don't know
A middle of nowhere sky, the northern lights shining so bold
I'm proud to say its where I'm from I might long for the city now
That don't mean that I'll forget about
This middle of nowhere town
This middle of nowhere town
