The world seems to be sleeping I never been one to slumber

We steady killing each other and that's being one hundred

But for a long long time I wasn't living right
I had a lot of enemies the worst of them is pride
Its hard to choose over the nine or to put pride aside
In the mean time I got to practice what I preach
For them young brothers who hang on to my every speech

As a black man just to drive shouldn't be scary to me
A truth could be a lie depends on how you see it
Part of God's plan could be the devils scheming
