Tim Jon Tunes - The Walk Lyrics
Official

The morning air makes my nose run
As I walk down the barrel of a loaded gun
I write my name in the still damp sand
I made my name in a two-bit band
I walk on regardless; never altering course
The wind cuts deep with its bitter force
I see a dog standing like a statue on the beach
It's plaintive soul way out of my reach
The dog sees me and its bark is heard
As is the cry of a circling bird
Its master's whistle calls the dog to heel
As in the dampening sand by the water I kneel
The water laps the shoreline up to my knees
As the raindrops patter on the nearby trees
My soul is released by the cleansing rain
As I jump to my feet and walk on again
The dog raises its hackles once more
As I inch closer to that ever present door
I kneel by its side and it sniffs my scent
It licks my hand with furious intent.
Nirvana is mine now as far as I can see
Its images restore my lost tranquility
Restfulness transports me to a higher plane
The spirits abound to wash away my pain.
