Everyone's back where they first came from

Esmerelda and Opie stopped frowning
And half of their wrinkles are gone

Memories transfer like washed out clothes
Peggy got sprayed with the garden hose
And Willie hid up in the old woodpile for a dime
And nothing is taken too serious

A sea of good nature is in the park

And the panhandlers wander on empty streets in the town
All the children sing rings around Rosie
