I'm tryna be motivational, inspirational
Educational, and informational
Everything I talk about, all of it's for the kids
I'm tryna be a good role model, they're the reasons why I've done what I did
In this rap game. In this hip-hop thang
I'm tellin' you the truth: I wanna be that flame
That the kids look up to, liked by the grown-ups, too
And I know there's gonna be people who won't say "Yup," too
I do all the glad songs, I do all the mad songs
I do all the rad songs, I do all the sad songs
Just to show these young'uns what real life is like
And to let'em know not everythang has to be the right price
You gotta stay outta the box in order to be hot
And be yourself and no one else, and stay on top
Of your dreams. Don't me mean. Don't be worried about the green
Just be glad and thankful for all the small things
I know sometimes I mess up, but everybody makes mistakes
Some are worse than others, but that's what makes'em great
Learning lessons. Burning sessions aren't the best experiences
It's just testing our self-protection, so you could call it experimenting
I'ma tell you right now: I'm not tryna be articulate
But, I will be honest, I am tryna be artistic with
My words. And yes, there is a difference
You will see that I'm tryna be a good influence
To the kids of this generation
And I know for a fact that just because of that, there's gonna be a lot of people who hate it
But that doesn't really matter, I still gotta make it
For my family and for these kids. Now take that into consideration
Memorization of the words that I use, and their meaning
Will hopefully get'em thinkin'. And the diction they have will become more gleaming
I want'em to try to move on to be bigger and better
But not be so cocky that "Sock me" is their only letters
When I write a song, I try providing encouragement
Don't let the current in, it'll take you permanently
Fight fervently, if it's difficult: sperm it
Wiggle your way out like a worm and be stern, and
Work hard,. And try to keep your promises
If something tragic happens, just move on with it
Easier said than done, but still stay strong in this
Life that ain't easy, ain't fair, full of bombs
I give advice like that when I write
I try to be bright with my songs and enlighten
I try to touch the heart and spark nostalgia
And I say what they're afraid to say about the
Problems in life. Yes, strife is rampant
But if you look at it right, laughter brings balance
I only do it when it's necessary: violence
And I say for those that have fallen: moment of silence
