The words I fumble with
Stumble out the roof of my own mouth
So I watched 'em tumble down
Watched them furrowing your brow
But they're all I'm leaning on
Linoleum feeling I've been wrong
Where I belong
Cuz looking up was just an instinct
Looking down sits better with me
Everyone else becomes a condescending glance across the room
Knew that I could lose em all but never thought it would be you- gone
I think I'm getting sick again
The words I fumble with
Stumble out from the roof of my mouth
I watch them tumbling down
I watch them crumble- and how?
When they're all I lean on?
Linoleum feeling grounded for a moment in sound
Oh if only linoleum feelings could hold me up
Back from the edge of the one you're my only but
You and I know I'm a risk, it's a folly for you
Far flung from the point of the story now
Everyone else becomes a condescending glance across the room
Knew that I could lose em all but never thought it would be you, gone
I think I'm getting sick again
