Start to the end of these pages
Hard to reread my own faces
Torn down the bindings that bound
Start to realize all your traces
A higher kind to grasp in the dark and
I'm reaching up to touch the stars of your eyes and
They're glimmering a tint of magenta
While you embrace the weakest part of me
Oh and the page of you is lightning in my veins
Gathering around the tall
Wondering about the shallow tide
Following the distant call away
The boughs of autumn leaves they fall down
A raspberry cluster of grapes
With the orchards standing in the shadowed way
The horizon sun is climbing once again
And i have yet to touch the rays of summer
Lowly seeds to sprout into trees
And the barks of white and ebony
Barren roots plunging deep into streams
Though the arrows wrap round my knees
The pages of the book of life
Madly rotating the yellow pages so wrinkled and worn
Seeking out the answers to all the questions i harboured inside all this time
Is this what i'm looking for? is this what i'm looking for?
I don't want all this world any longer i'm letting it go
