If Christ was not risen it makes no sense at all

In this life you have one intellectual duty
To investigate if He is The King
If you find it false move forward
But if you find it true it changes everything

In a world full of doubt from a priest to a thief
His gospel spread like fire bringing comfort and relief
He spoke of a kingdom of love and of light
With words that brought hope through the darkest of nights

Religions in the world tell us to earn our place
Through deeds and ways in life's long race
But the Gospel speaks of what He's done
Just have faith in Him it's already been won

God promised a Savior when sin first enrolled
Written centuries before in prophecies bold
With astonishing precision it all was foretold
Jesus nailed the prophecies of old

Our body will die but our soul will not
Priceless and eternal more than earth's lot
In Jesus' kingdom there will be no pain
