Ran a race at the old folks place
Pretty chuffed for once because I didn't come last.
Then I went Maccy D's and I got what I asked for
Another day I didn't follow through on a fart.
I got a laugh from the Mrs, one time
Told a joke, didn't stutter on the punchline.
Freezer broke, now the kitchen's flooded
Chicken's defrosted, there's always an upside.
Had a curry the buds on my tongue liked
But this morning it's more sore bum time.
A metaphor for the state of my love life?
Nah, just caused by the sauce on the rice.
