Quotes:
Exactly. You have to have a sense of humor about it or you go crazy. People look at us like we're idiots anyway because we won't license our music for (commercial advertising). You work really hard on a piece of art, something you're really proud of, only to have it associated with something you're not proud of. People who love music have their own associations with that music, which are precious to them and if they suddenly saw it representing something else, it's robbing them of the music in a way. The payback is never enough to justify that.
Tom Yorke

We were all at school together. We existed as band for six or seven years before we actually approached a record company.
We were using that time to learn how to write songs, how to arrange and how to play really.
So it was a bedroom band for six years then as is the classic tale for most bands you meet the right people at the right point.
Things then happened quite quickly for us in terms of going from a very obscure bedroom band to being signed to EMI.
That happened over a matter of about four or five months.
Phil Selway

It's very important. It's a large part of the glue that keeps it all together. That extends to everyone else who works with us.
On the whole everyone who works on our crew and management has been there from the very early days.
So there's that level of trust and understanding between everybody.
Phil Selway

In a deep deep sleep of the innocent, I am born again, In a fast German car, I'm amazed that I survived, An airbag saved my life

it's gonna be a glorius day, i feel my luck could change, pull me out of the aircrash , pull me out of the lake , cause i'm your superhero, and we are standing on the edge

You want me? Come on and break the door down. You want me? Come on and @#$%& break the door down.

"A heart that's full up like a landfill and a job that slowly kills you."?
