Heart of the wild
All plants reverberating green light
Animals and insects
Watch in the stillness
A Seed of light
Begins to form
And grows
From the light
Of nature's kin
Vines and leaves wrap around the Seed
And place it into my humble hands
Then I'm surrounded by light
In tiny blue stars
And I step out
Into a familiar place
But now covered in
Vines and roots
The City's light is gone
Flickering on dying power
But there's a rough path
Of small buds lining my way
To a young tree
I place the Seed of light
In the cradle
'Neath the trunk
And life blooms
From the wreckage
