My aches of back and bone woke me
I was on a bed of hospital
Across the room was my Brother
I called his name in whisper
He opened his orange eyes to me
And smiled for a brief moment
I smiled back
We spoke of each other
For the time left we all had was short
We got up and pushed
Our resting places together
So we could keep warm and comforted
We were clothe-less
The Experimenters had burnt them
No dreams invaded them
That night of the Eve
Only a vast black filled them
Alas, tomorrow was waiting
When the Omega
Would drown everything in Szilence
A DIMLY LIT PLACE
