In silence we all bowed our heads
With fists clenched
Too tightly
Minds playing happy memories
Constantly
Joyfully

But it quickly fades
And all I see
Becomes more distant
Floating away
Then the ghost
Passes by me
Keeping hope
Just out of reach
Still I see
The imagery

I long to walk through the garden and engrave my name
Welcome despair as a stranger and love as a friend
Live life for the glory and not for the bitter end
Spend time in the company of those who mean the most

Take a walk outside and breathe in the air
Wondering when my sign will become clear
I hope these words reach you so you can hear

I can't really tell
What I'm feeling
