SNOWMAN
By Sarah W Johnson and Emmy Lawalin
Count all the nights wide awake, chasing my thoughts
Spinning my wheels to the rim, unsure of the cost
Find all the ways to compare what I know I should not
So I wipe out the worries
Roll with my feelings
I won't let them build me
And then let me fall
No It won't be easy
But I will stand tall
Shoot me with fire
And I'll stand my ground
Some melt away
But I won't, I won't be your snowman
Feel the heat everyday, but I won't give up
Like the sun beating down on the pavement, it's burning me up
Oh but you're only fueling the flames deep in my heart
And it's getting stronger
I'll only work harder
I won't let them build me
And then let me fall
No It won't be easy
But I will stand tall
Shoot me with fire
And I'll stand my ground
Some melt away, some melt away
