Every Tuesday when I was a little girl
I would see my Grandparents they were my whole world
They'd take me to places I had never seen before
Didn't think back then I wouldn't see them anymore
All of my memories come flooding back to me
How I loved our special place of paddling in the sea
Sitting in the back seat of my Grandad's car
He always said, your music will take you far
Salad sandwiches and lemonade for a treat
Midnight snacks with my Nan of oranges so sweet
Always putting warm water in my paddling pool
Making me feel like I always had it all
All of my memories come flooding back to me
How I loved our special place of paddling in the sea
Sitting in the back seat of my Grandads car
He always said, your music will take you far
My Grandad would wake me up at five thirty am
How i'd love to taste those dippy eggs again
My Nan would come down from the stairs for a cup of tea
All those magic moments of my Grandparents and me
All of my memories come flooding back to me
How I loved our special place of paddling in the sea
Sitting in the back seat of my Grandad's car
He always said, your music will take you far
I would walk through the door
And they would always know
They would always cuddle me
I wouldn't want them to let go
I know they are there watching over me
They will always be, my favourite memory
