Red clouds conceal the bright of the day
The doomsday clock tick, tock, ticking away
Our time is running out, but we're playing blind
Wasting our lives, ignoring the signs
The trees are burning, there's oil in the waters
And yet everybody turns a blind eye
This can't go on
Our planet is dying, something has to be done
It's not too late to reverse our course
But the elite doesn't care enough
We bought a one-way ticket to Hell
The very moment we started playing God
Much as I'd like to trust in our survival
I can't help but be a little pessimistic
Forgive me if it hurts
But let's not sugar-coat this: we're killing ourselves
Water levels rise, our homes destroyed
Does that really not concern you?
Then quit sitting on the fence like marionettes
Swaying to the symphony of destruction
In a way, there's a comfort in knowing that in a thousand years
There won't be a mankind to taint the face of the Earth
And I'm not f*cking sorry for the way I feel
Sure, let's keep pretending that everything is fine
Until the very last species dies
But then again, we ourselves are mere animals
When did we stop caring about our future?
