Flip a coin, chose my profile: HEADS!
Flipped a coin, yet nothing seemed to be said.
So I made my choices on issues that I thought I had
But it turns out those issues were part of me instead
Now it's given voice to a bully deep.
Given access to horrors (and monsters) that I won't repeat.
Now I see my monsters free in this world
I swallow them back down and push them in so I'm told.
But what if they are the hole of what's been done
I think if that's the case then we've gotta run (we've gotta run)
When you've bullied something out of you is that still you?
If you've lost your identity does that make you free
How can you accept that you're a good person if you can't love yourself
It doesn't matter anyway, my thoughts aren't mine are they?
If we knew that then we'd have clarity of self.
Take your picture, dissolve your joy out the mixture of memory lanes
Take your broke-self down to small claims.
Losing a part of yourself there's no-one to blame (but you)
Flip a coin, no more clueless: TAILS!
Flipped a coin to decide if I should tell
It told me no, so I bottled it down
I drowned it out so it wouldn't hurt my promised crown
That's where I made my first mistake
That on this planet of royalty that there ain't
A single person who deserves a crown
So there we have it I've killed myself for what?
A taste of blood but happiness and royalty that's not (it's not)
When you've bullied something out of you is that still you?
If you've lost your identity does that make you free
How can you accept that you're a good person
If you can't love yourself
It doesn't matter anyway, my thoughts aren't mine are they?
If we knew that then we'd have clarity of self.
Take your picture, dissolve your joy out the mixture of memory lanes
Take your broke-self down to small claims.
And ask them for a refund: Small change.
