Paradise
I saw it through and it was black and white
Brainwashed and bruised lost in your paradise
I'm such a fool for you, try not to lie
Too good to be true but I still loved that paradise
Blinded eyes, with a slight sense of the light
It took me time before I could admit my lacc of sight
Linger in my mind, and the lost track of my fight or flight
It was fine cause I knew that love in a previous life
I realized throughout you do meet people more than once
A spirit reincarnated to challenge on what you've done
Or the same flesh with a soul that's known for making fronts
A precursor to what will inevitably become
It's like a cycle of the blind leading the blind
It took me years to understand that I can simply open up my eyes
But at the price of bliss and ignorance, I struggled to decide
Cause it's too comfortable in the dark, why should I seek the light
Paradise
I saw it through and it was black and white
Brainwashed and bruised lost in your paradise
I'm such a fool for you, try not to lie
Too good to be true but I still loved that paradise
The individual before, has gone out the door
And entering from the wings, as the crowd roars
A new entity who's only things is nothing more
Then an actor who only knows how to perform
The sparkle disappeared, the human you knew is gone
Yet we still can't see a reality where we move on
The cycle seemingly endless but we don't move a muscle
Cause we to comfortable up in this fragile little bubble
It takes two to tango, and if you know you know
Never feeling the pains it takes for us to grow
It all did fall apart and it's nobody's fault
Just victims of the circumstances of people involved
But I still miss it though
Paradise
I saw it through and it was black and white
Brainwashed and bruised lost in your paradise
I'm such a fool for you, try not to lie
Too good to be true but I still loved
Paradise
I saw it through and it was black and white
Brainwashed and bruised lost in your paradise
I'm such a fool for you, try not to lie
Too good to be true but I still loved that paradise
