Three visitors came, to Abraham's tent
Next year, a son, was the message they sent
But Sodom's sin was great, judgment was near
Abraham pleaded, If righteous are here
Lot welcomed angels, to his home that night
But the men of Sodom, sought to incite
The angels struck them blind, and warned Lot to flee
Escape to the mountains, don't look back, decrees
Fire and brimstone rained, the cities were consumed
Lot's wife looked back, and her fate was doomed
But Abraham saw the smoke, from afar he stood
Trusting God's justice, though it was hard to understand
Fire fell from heaven, the cities were no more
But Lot was spared, through the open door
God's justice is sure, His mercy is wide
For those who seek Him, He will provide
The angels warned Lot, Flee for your life
But his wife looked back, turned to salt in the strife
A lesson to heed, when God says to go
Obey without question, His way we must know
And Abraham saw the smoke, rising high
But God's promise remained, beneath the sky
