In the crisp October of my senior year
When a big Friday night was a case of your father's beer
Although we'd seen near and far
Who could have guessed Shangra La was in Bryn Mawr
Then a brave explorer a modern day Lewis and Clark
He shone a light into a world that had always been the dark
Country Day School of the Sacred Heart
And all girl's school and they all were hot
You better come on the double
These Catholic High School girls are in trouble
They'd need dates every time they had a dance
Bucks and a blue blazer was your round trip ticket to romance
All the girls at our school had heard our tired lines
Until we went to college we would be just pulling time
Watch them practice in their plaid field hockey skirts
Red and white and short
They were line after line of pretty young girls
And as the springtime came
And we knew it had to end
We threw one final rager
It was us and all of them
