Spent my childhood wondering what I'd get for Christmas
(Fa la la la la)
Some new toys for plundering, hi auntie did you miss us
(Hellow auntie)
Watched Home Alone until I slept ate chocolate and beer
(Fa la la la la)
But I looked up and saw something unpleasantly severe
(Oh no no no)
That's when I found out that Christmas ain't for everyone
It's locked out to those who can afford
To buy someone they care
A present
Now it's really to blame of our existing system of how wealth builds more wealth and how the little guy can never make enough money to ever break out of being the little guy
This is because decisions are being made by people in power who have the most money, and they want to keep that money instead of giving it to people who actually need it
Christmas is for the highest bidder
Christmas is for the highest bidder
