As they scream I go blind
While she uses her sight
I ran out of her way
'Cause she puts up a fight
She ran up through the hall
Based on every request
She listens to help
Without getting her rest
But it doesn't matter to them
They ignore what's great
They fill up her agenda
Putting more on her plate
She screams in silence
But what else can she say
She'll test all the waters
And see how much she can take
She went to the deck
'Cause she needed moonlight
She passed me the stick
In the tides of the night
She rest her arms on the side
I stood there to her right
I put my hand on hers
And asked if she was alright
She said that she was alright
And she thanked me for my time
She hugged me pretty tight
Resting her head on my side
She said "I just need you"
Then she looked into my eyes
She buried her head in my chest
While she started to cry
