The warm wet Earth breathes in
She lets both past and future fall
And tender now she smiles
To feel the air with water dance
Her rich dark womb is
The tabernacle of their kiss
And tender now the Earth smiles
To feel the love within her bloom
Flowers swim in the blue of the skies
Pirouette on her slow-blinking eyes
The sun pours down, its light dripping through shade
And all to all is bound in mutual serenade
The storm is now far away
The worms return to deeper soil
And tender now the earth smiles
For beauty come of beauty past
Flowers swim in the blue of the skies
Pirouette on her slow-blinking eyes
The sun pours down, its light dripping through shade
And all to all is bound in mutual serenade
A horse's hoof springs from the ground
But though soil flies there is no sound
No beating trot resounds from the track
No clinking of armour from its back
Whereon sits a man in shifting flames
A pentacle on his shield proclaims
He is the kinsman of the earth
The two being born of a single birth
