I was lost
Now I'm found
I Don't know why it took so long
Late Spring, early summer
When the flowers come and the rain is gone
I prayed for beautiful weather
But black days are sure to come
I took shelter, I stayed under
I waited for the sun to come to me
I was buried underground
Taking in all I could find
I was scared of what they would think of me
Being exposed out on the vine
I was lost
Now I'm wandering
Like a blossom in the wind
I was buried, now I'm tall
Reaching out for the light
Late to bed, late to rise
Late to bloom
Almost out of time
Needed water before I could climb
Needed air and I needed shine
And all the colors they're all so bright
And all the flowers, they ain't so black and white
