Little Sammy Davis lived alone in the forest
In a little house in the trees
Every day he'd forage just to make his morning porridge
He had no locks he had no keys
One day he was hunting 'cause his belly it was rumbling
He caught himself a snake by the tail
The snake knew he was beaten so he let himself be eaten
And the rodent population exhaled
Well the rodents started breeding - the next thing they were feeding
And pretty soon ate everything
When a flock of birds did swoop down and they gulped the rodent troop down
Then they perched in trees and started to sing
But too late all the food's gone no more leaves or seeds to chew on
Little Sammy's going hungry today
So to the river to go fishing you can't catch a fish by wishing
Will he catch one will he won't who can say
Now Sammy's sitting on the levy - his lids are getting heavy
He's dreaming that the fish takes the bate
Just then the line starts bending for his life now he's defending
It's a big one Sammy's meeting his fate
Go Sammy go (Where you gonna go?)
Go Sammy go (Where you gonna go?)
You're a man in the wild living like a child go go (Where you gonna go?)
Now Sammy's hanging on tight in a life or death fight
Pulled underwater by the fish on the line
And the darkness starts a-coming and a harp he feels like strumming
Sammy lets go and accepts that he's dyin'
Just then everything pops the wind the waves they just stop
And Sammy's lying on the beach in the sun
But it was not a fish at all - it's a woman nature calls
Sammy gets up on one knee and they're one
Pretty soon they have a child - they name the babe Miles
Sammy Davis and his wife are so thrilled
But the boy is kind of strange he can blow a mean range
He's got lungs but he has also got gills
Go Sammy go (Where you gonna go?)
Go Sammy go (Where you gonna go?)
Blow Miles blow - Blow Miles blow
Swim fish lady swim (Blub swishy swishy)
You're gonna win (Blub swishy)
You're out in the wild living like a child go go (Where you gonna go?)
