I like to eat fermented foods every day
They get me going keep me feeling okay
They help assimilate nutrients from food that I chewed
So I have energy to go out and play
I'll have a snack of some pickles and cheese
And if I'm asking I'll remember to say please
It is a simple fact there are some major advantages
To making sauerkraut from these cabbages
There are billions of beneficial bacteria
Floating around in my tummy
Ain't it so nice to know
The foods I'm eating to stay healthy are yummy
Like keifer miso kombucha or kimchi
They rock n' roll me - they fill me with glee
It's no surprise I love my sourdough rye
I treasure microbiologic diversity
