Highest and omnipotent good Lord
Yours are the praises
And the glory
And the honour
And all blessing
To you alone do they belong
Praised be You, my Lord
For our brother, Master sun
Who brings us day and light
From You, O Most High
Praised be You, my Lord
For our sister Moon and the Stars
In the heavens
You created them
Praised be You, my Lord
For our brothers Wind
Air and Clouds and Storms
And all the weather
You created them
Praised be You, my Lord
For our humble sister Water
So very useful
And precious
And chaste
Praised be You, my Lord
For brother Fire, through whom
You brighten the night
So beautiful
And vigorous
And strong
Praised be You, my Lord
For our sister Mother Earth
Who feeds and governs us
And gives us various fruits
Praised be You, my Lord
For those who forgive out of love for You
Happy those who endure in peace
For by you they'll be crowned
Praised be You, my Lord
For the Science, as for her we know
The sea is blue, the day is due
To the globe's rotation
Praised be You, my Lord
For our sister Bodily Death
From whose embrace
No living person can escape
For Her we fear and love and question
And we're her prey, for her we pray
And thoughtful Death will send us all
Back to the ground one day
Lucky those who can
Just embrace her, 'cause
They understand
The worth of Life
That's given us
Even from the end
