Night Owl - Under the Moon Lyrics

Somewhere deep in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey
Is a young man, looking for an escape from his day to day life as the sun dips below the horizon
Twilight rises slowly and the shadows of broken trees grow longer and longer
Our friend, the young man, looks up to the sky
Looking for a sign
A symbol
A truth
Looking for something to guide him on his journey through this thing we call life
But there's nothing to be seen
The sky is filled with blackness
And then, without further warning

The moon shines down onto the young man, illuminating his soul with a bright, unearthly hue
The sky lights up in flames and as the young man falls to the forest floor, his eyes close
And his mind opens
Inside, we find the troubled psyche of none other than the Nightowl
