Love, like a rose, has more thorns than flowers
But it's well worth the risk for the pleasure it brings
A road like a river twist and turns through this life
But travel it you must as done by paupers and kings
Life, is a road map that you must follow
Over mountains valleys and plains
Life can be short or life can be long
But you'll never ever travel it again
Life, like the wind has little self control
For it goes and it blows where it must every day
A stream surely follows in its bed where it lies
Till it reaches the shore and out into the bay
