God was in the fire, the bush was not consumed
God spoke to Moses, told him what to do
Go tell the Pharaoh to let my people go
If he refuses my power I will show
God was in the fire, that day at Pentecost
When the tongues of fire, came upon all men
God gave us His Spirit, to preach to the lost
And God gave His Son, to pay for all sin
God was in the fire, the pillar that burned bright
The cloud in the day, the fire at night
Held back the Pharaoh, and opened up the sea
To save His people, so that they could be free
God was in the fire, as the furnace burned high
Protected the three, so they would not die
Not even the smell of smoke on their attire
They were protected cause God was in the fire
