The seagulls bring the Nor' Easta from the sea
I feel the waves washing all over me
The sun been baking for most of the day
It's hard to end the day a better way
Ravens squawking by the unit side
I finally found a place where I can hide
From the vicious pecks that life can bring
It's a place I know I can begin
The day fades
To reveal the city lights
Cathedral on the hill and the nightlife
Across the harbour
On the other side
I know the fear I cannot hide
Norfolk pines rise above the beach
Towards the North East the sand does reach
Out to the breeze that clears the day
And opens up a brand new way
The breakwater is a place to rest
Between the ocean and the city's best
A place to live, fish and breathe anew
These golden moments are so few
