Into the garden
Covered with fear
Each step, a mark in time
Further from before
Surrounding me as my lungs breathe this death
Such impurity
So cold is my heart
Seems so out of place in this memory
Never again will I see what this place used to be!
But in my mind, I still remember each flower in the sun
I still remember each spring
When I played so carelessly
Pretending to be king
Of my playground in paradise
Laughing so loud and exploding with joy
And I was, if only for an instance it seems
When I was a boy
