MORRIS RANDOM POET - Jackson's on the Lake Too Lyrics

MORRIS RANDOM POET - Jackson's on the Lake Too Lyrics
Official

There was little log cabin down by the lake
If they bought it, what could they make
A grocery store and a bar would be great
So sealed their fate
Maybe pizza and burgers are in the plan
Ice cold beer served in a Frosted Glass
Good old music will make you smile
Just kick on back and stay awhile
Slipping through the canal
From Lake June to Lake Henry
Can smell the pizza
And the people are friendly
Jackson has been around for many years
The more it changes the more it's the same
Generations in Lake Placid have come and gone
Memories made there are still holding on
Pull up in the back past the Gator
Tell him "See ya later (Later Gator)
Stocking up on drinks and some food
With Beer to set the mood
They called it by their last name
Now it's Jackson's call to fame
Time goes by and it's the place for some fun
Playing Foosball and Shuffle bowling
While the Jukebox songs are rolling
Best place to get out of the sun
Jacksons has been around for many years
The more it changes the more it's the same
Generations in Lake Placid have come and gone
While the Memories are still holding on
One day Connie and Fred took over to make it great
And spelled the name with an X
Jaxson's Jacksons sounds the same to me
Franks premium meats are burger treats
Then one day Don bought the Place
Till J.J. McCoy took charge of the Race
Owners they come and go
But it's Still the old Jacksons I use to know
So, if you're coming in from out on the town
Just stop in and order another round
The Prime Rib and Catfish are good to eat
Set yourself down and rest your feet
J. J. will Sing about the "Sunshine State" (Sunshine State)
And maybe young Triple J will sing a tune too
Then when the music turns down slow
Grab your girl and take her to the Dance floor
And show her polish that belt buckle once more
Come on down where the sun shines bright
Have a real good time every night
I might even see you there putting a Hookie Melt down
You can buy me a Prime rib while you're in town
Jackson has been around for many years
The more it changes the more it's the same
Generations in Lake Placid have come and gone
Memories made there are still holding on
One Day Come on down
Come on down where the sun shines bright
Have a real good time every night
I might even see you there putting a Hookie Melt down
You can buy me a Prime rib while you're in town
Jackson has been around for many years
The more it changes the more it's the same
Generations in Lake Placid have come and gone
Memories made there are still holding on
It's Jaxson on the Lake
(It's Jaxson on the Lake)
Don't be late
{Don't be late)
Last call tonight
We're ought a Here
