MORRIS RANDOM POET - Imagine That Lyrics

I have seen the brightest skies
Felt the winter breeze
Walked upon a summer cloud
Flew with the greatest of ease

If you close your eyes and see
The wonders flood right in
Climb the highest mountains
The mystery will begin.
You'll cross the longest rivers

And the seas will part your way
Sing to the highest heavens
And watch your children play

The world will open
To hold us so near
And dance and dance
Year after year.

This I say is the only truth
We should live every day
As if it were a dream so clear
To guide us on our way

Make a Pledge to yourself
To walk without a care
Life will be a pleasure here
With happiness everywhere
Gather the wind to your breast
Catch the ocean waves as they crest
Ride a sun beam all the way
To the sun
And become a comet on the run
Catch a fish as big as a car
Maybe these lyrics have gone too far
Catch a firefly in a jar
Think about the coral reef
Eat your fill of good beef

Do you wonder what is real
Just lay back and feel
The earth calls out the name
Of those who seek the fame
Legends gathers to test their skill
To them it's a big field
Rhymes flow like spiders' silk
Builds a web it can fill

All the bees will be here
Making honey for you dear
Feed the queen keep the hive
Then they are so alive

Wolves howl at the dark
Morning brings a meadowlark
Strange noise as a mighty wail
Fright sets and turns you pale

See a rainbow that's only gray
Stop to watch your pets play
Watch a bird fly on by
Laugh so hard you start to cry

Play this song and read the lines
Sew a shirt of many twines
Yes, I have become lazy
Which is why this song is so crazy

The nursing home feels so cold
And my nurse looks so old
Last call is starting now
I wasn't hungry any how

Good night to all
I'm off to bed
If I snore too much
Please turn my head
