The sun explodes the day
The moon ties up the night
The clouds come all together
But the Man feels no such fright
I guess I often wonder
What the cosmic people do
Their shoes come all untied
And the old things come the new
Thought my days had gone to night
Not a drop on me
If I could get outta here
The place I'd rather be
Thought my days had gone to night
Not a drop on me
If I could get outta here
The place I'd rather be
They open their mouths and then falls out
Tracks of life and death
A lonely man questions them
And takes his final breath
The carnival falls in and out
As we see one more place
I think the way that things might go
In a spiral colored space
Thought my days had gone to night
Not a drop on me
If I could get outta here
The place I'd rather be
Thought my days had gone to night
Not a drop on me
If I could get outta here
The place I'd rather be
