Melody Minds - Oops! Watering the Flowers Lyrics

Melody Minds - Oops! Watering the Flowers Lyrics

I've got my watering can, I'm ready to go,
The flowers need water, they're thirsty, you know!
I tip it a little and start to pour...
Uh-oh, I'm watering the front door!

The sunflowers sigh, "Please aim a bit right,"
But I splashed on the dog-now he's taking flight!
The roses roll their petals and say,
"Maybe come back another day!"

Oops, splash, what a mess!
Water's going everywhere, I confess!
Oops, splish, where did it land?
I'm watering everything but the plants!

I'll try again, I'm sure I can,
I'm the master of the watering can!
But whoops, too much-the wind took a turn,
And watered the neighbor's ferns!

The tulips are waving, "We're right here!"
But I've somehow managed to soak my ear!
"Just a bit lower," the daisies shout,
But instead, I'm watering the roundabout!

Oops, splash, what a mess!
Water's going everywhere, I confess!
Oops, splish, where did it land?
I'm watering everything but the plants!

The watering can's laughing, I swear it's true,
It says, "Hey buddy, I think it's on you!"
But I won't give up, I'm a flower fan,
Even if I need a watering plan!

So I tip-toe close and count to three,
I'll water these flowers, just watch and see!
But instead of the blooms, I hit the tree,
Now there's water raining down on me!

The flowers all giggle, "You're trying your best!"
But I'm dripping wet and need a rest.
Still, I won't quit; I'll find a way,
I'm gonna be a pro at this someday!

Oops, splash, what a mess!
Water's going everywhere, I confess!
Oops, splish, where did it land?
I'm watering everything but the plants!

So next time you water, here's what to do:
Just aim for the flowers, not your shoe!
And if you miss, don't worry at all,
Watering's a game-just have a ball!
