[ Featuring the Power-Ups ]
The seasons are changing and long grows the night
The precipitation brings a blanket of white
Back in my hometown theres snow on the trees
Here in the south land, just a mild winter breeze
The families they gather with laughter and sing
Off in the distance those silver bells ring
They gather together 'round fires in their homes
No longer feeling quite so alone
A year's separation has come to an end
Embrace cousins, siblings and parents and friends
Of course after all is this not why we're here
To engage with our brethren in Holiday Cheer
As the solstice approaches we look for a sign
Something to guide us to that perfect white pine
We'll dress and decorate it with wonder and care
For the Yuletide Spirit it permeates the air
And we're happy to see everyone still hearty and hale
As we raise up a glass of Great Lakes Chirstmas Ale
The children they play outside in snow drifts
Thrilled to see Grandma went overboard on gifts
And Papaw is happy to to have his house again full
And his favorite football squad made a New Years Day Bowl
Now come on everybody its the best time of year
Come along and join in our Holiday Cheer
Now come on everybody its the best time of year
