Where do we stand at the peak of dawn
If we could go back to when we were fawns
We could have arose with a stronger bond
But don't live in the past alas it's gone
A plague of mistrust, I was all but fond
The list exists, goes on and on
Beckoned by demons and adhered their taunts
Twas an eve when thee was gaunt
How we're perceived is so based on one thing
The battles won but not how we loss, then reversed that fact
And becoming much better receding the weakness
Of our sleazy thoughts, how ghastly that
Nomad lad roaming lost, till a moment sprung
To amend the whims of sins that broke our bones
Into the light so bright it brought me home
Into your arms, a most rewarding solace known
I still marvel at just how we've grown
Life's been forgiving to me its shown
How elegant it flows like structured poems
Has led me to a learned faith alone
Each wrongdoing is best atoned
Best feel your words before they're spoke
Even if years go by so what
Why be false when truth is what existence is based upon
Don't fuss, let your skin befriend the mind and trust
We are of kin eventually dust
Oh, cloaked one stolen from shadows
Repurposed finding your way out the gallows
We must exist for the growth of our being and such
