Lonely Vacations - '93 Saab Lyrics

It's got four wheels
Two doors
One hole in the roof and no A/C
A radio that still plays cassettes
A basin in the back that fills with water when it rains
Bright green
From 1993
My mother bought it used while she was pregnant with me

I love my '93 Saab
Even when it stalls, the steering locks or somebody has to jump it
I love my '93 Saab
Cause it was a car and I got to drive it

How many high school kids could say
They drove a classic convertible everyday
Sure in the winter it was kind of cold
Sometimes the heat didn't work but hey they didn't know
The fog lights are like a candle in the distance
Or someone with a flashlight on the hood of my car
But man that thing took me so far

That thing could take me anywhere I want to go
Just had to leave a few minutes early in case it decided it wanted to stall
But how could I complain?
I was 16
The car ran
And I didn't have to pay for it
