Lil Bronk - The Apple Analogy Lyrics

Lil Bronk - The Apple Analogy Lyrics

So, I'm stranded on this island and the island is so beautiful and being there is great
But after a while
Because I don't have any food I start starving
So while I think the place I'm in is amazingly beautiful and I love being there
Being there hurts me and it's killing me
But every so often
A hand reaches out and hands me an apple
And it lets me take a bite
The apple is the most delicious thing I've ever eaten
Because it's from this beautiful island, that I love
The apple is just enough to sustain me so that I decide to stay on the island
But when I need another bite the hand isn't there for me anymore
Eventually, I realize that the beauty of the island isn't worth starving
So I decide to leave
But right then the hand comes back and gives me another bite of the apple
The cycle just keeps repeating
And seemingly the hand only comes to provide sustenance
Or happiness when it knows I want to leave

But eventually, after enough times of me thinking about leaving the island
The island gives up on me
The island collapses on itself and it leaves me in the middle of the ocean
Wondering where it went
The beauty of the island is gone and I can't see it anymore
Because it fell underwater and I don't even get the apple anymore
So I'm left in the middle of the ocean
Almost drowning and I just have to swim to shore
And hope I can make it without starving first

And that's how it felt talking to her
