Are you two in love?
Yes
Yeah
Beautiful
Yeah
Do you remember when you first said I love you?
I remember when she first said I love you
I don't
Yeah
Yeah
There was alcohol involved
It was a silly night
It was just sort of a social lubricant
Not something either of us wouldn't have said if we were sober
Can you describe how it feels to be in love
Being in love is wanting to do nothing with somebody
Yeah
And being okay with that
Comfortable silence
Yeah
What keeps you attracted to each other now?
I really like learning new things about him
Because
I feel the same
I feel like I have a really good sense of who you are
But, you know, we've only been together for over a year now, so of course there's stuff that I don't know yet
It's really fun getting to know the person that you think you know so well on a different
Level
Her eyes
I feel like I am always finding something new to love about them
And the conversations that we have, there's very few people who I can reach such depths with
And I really value our ability to communicate with one another and the varied topics we can
Explore and what we can learn together about one another and about
And about the world
Yeah
Through one another
How have you changed each other for the better or worse?
I feel that he's helped me to be able to communicate in a healthier way
I had a lot of trouble with feeling what I had to say mattered
And so I tend to keep stuff to myself
That wasn't good for me or my relationships
He made me feel like whatever I had to bring up was worth bringing up
And it's helped me build a new relationship with myself
She has reconnected me to the parts of myself that I value most and the parts of my upbringing
And my childhood and also my evolution as a human being that's most important to me because
The qualities about myself that she articulates as being qualities that she loves or qualities
That maybe I don't always feel as willing to share with people but are qualities that
I value nonetheless
She allows me to be a more complete version of myself
